Skim milk powder can be applied in frozen foods, dairy products, select bakery products, and different variety of foods. Dependant on usage levels and food system application, this product can effectively emulsify, opacify, enhance aeration, promote cell formation, promote a desirable structure/body, promote desirable textures, contribute to shelf stability, bind water effectively, act as a thickening agent/viscosity enhancer, promote desirable colouring, and provide many more beneficial attributes.
HOW TO USE :
Use 1 part skim milk powder to 9 or 10 parts water. The water should be boiled and cooled down to between 35-40°F before combining with the powder.
The finished product can be stored in the fridge for no longer than 48 hours. To make 1 cup of skim milk, combine 3 level tablespoon of powder with 1 cup water.
Store in a cool, dry area (10-25°C and 65% relative humidity), in sealed containers to provide for a shelf-life for up to 12 months.
